Sitting amongst the Banksias, I watch as the Blue faced Honeyeaters call to one another and feed on the bristly goodness amongst the rusty red and orange blooms. I record their song, transcribed to line, capturing the sense of all it is to be in this moment. The stillness in the air, the tranquility I feel, and mark intuitively with my brush and watercolours.
This work was created in nature by four-generation Watercolourist Libby Derham, then scanned and composed digitally to create these 10 limited edition artist signed prints.**** Images here are digital approximations only.
